- Icing sugar
- Corn starch
- Flour

Whipped Shortbread Cookies
These Whipped Shortbread Cookies are so light and fluffy, they melt in your mouth and are so easy to make! Perfect Cookie to add to your goodie tray.
Ingredients
- 1 pound of butter (2 cups)
- 1 c powdered sugar
- 1/2 c corn starch
- 3 c flour
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- Christmas sprinkles/decorations for the top
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit, line cookie sheets with parchment paper or silicone mat
- Cream butter until it is a nice whipped consistency
- Sift together icing sugar, cornstarch, and flour
- Add to butter with vanilla
- Beat in mixer until consistency of a thick whipped cream
- Drop by teaspoon onto cookie sheets and decorate with sprinkles or maraschino cherries
- Bake for 15-20 mins until edges are lightly golden Oven temps vary! Please keep an eye, set your timer for 11 mins and check
- Cool completely before moving from tray!
